The smartest man in the world, my daddy, raised me to be a lifelong Twins fan. Some of my earliest memories are of him explaining baseball to me. He told me stories about listening to the games on the radio and taught me how to calculate batting averages long before Google existed. Today, he's gone but the radio is still my favorite way to catch a game. I still love the Twins and baseball in general (except the Yankees) but I hate math so I no longer try and calculate batting averages by hand. I work as a legal assistant by day and at night, I Uber my 2 daughters and step son to their events or sit on my back patio with my husband and our menagerie of animals. We live in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. My favorite Twin is Kirby Puckett, I love watching BP before a game and I'm one of those odd balls who thinks the baby blue uniforms need to be a thing again. I'm excited to share my take with Puckett's Pond's readers and I can't wait to see how far the Twins go this season!
