One Last Thing

Gibson finished with a game score of 64. If you’re unfamiliar with what game score measures, here’s the Wikipedia article on it. However, if he would have been taken out after the 7th, he had a 74 game score. The 64 is still his best game score of 2017. Incredibly, his best game score of 2016 was also on July 22nd, against the Chicago White Sox, when he had a 79 game score, going 8 innings, allowing a run on 2 hits and a walk, striking out 6.
