Minnesota Twins Find New Home On The Air

As the 2015 Major League Baseball season is fast approaching, the Minnesota Twins will find themselves in unfamiliar territory this summer. After spending the last few years broadcasting home games on the Pohlad owned 96.3 KTWIN, the Twins will now reside on Go 96.3 MN for the foreseeable future.

After featuring a Siri-esque robotic voice over the past few days, the switch was finally made on the airwaves yesterday at 3pm central time. Go 96.3 MN signifies yet another change in direction for the station, after it has failed to garner much in the ratings department.

At this point, there are no on air personalities or DJ’s. The Twitter account for the new station announced that the catalog of music is going to be very deep, and feature a multitude of different options. If nothing else, the change has sparked a lot of discussion throughout the local market.

With the Minnesota Twins soon scheduled to make their way down to Fort Myers for Spring Training, and the start of the 2015 MLB season shortly thereafter, 96.3 is a station warranting an add to your radio presets.

Expect much of the same when it comes to Twins broadcasts from Go 96.3 MN, but you’ll have to tune in to get a feel for the new and different feel of the former KTWIN station.
