Baseball is back which means a lot of other things are back right along with it. One of my personal favorite things related to baseball is media guides. A book just chalk full of information about a specific baseball team has always appealed to me.
This season the Twins hope to break some new ground and not lose a bunch of games for once. Within that new ground is a new manager: Hall of Famer Paul Molitor.
Molitor not only dons the new 2015 media guide, but his likeness appears four-times!

The bottom image is current day manager Molitor, he’s wearing the new jersey for the Twins 2015 season. The top three show every stage of Molitor’s career in Minnesota. As a high schooler at Cretin-Derham Hall (same school first baseman
Joe Mauerattended), in college as a University of Minnesota Golden Gopher and as a Minnesota Twin during his playing career.
Having a handful of media guides from the early 2000’s, this is so much better than those. The limestone alone is enough to make the cover great.
The most current picture of Molitor was snapped by Brace Hemmelgarn, the Twins official team photographer, and you really need to be following Brace on Twitter and on Instagram. Brace has amazing pictures of the Twins, plus the other major sporting events around the Twin Cities.
