The Minnesota Twins are treading water at the moment with a .500 record, but losing five straight games has things heading in the wrong direction. The hope was that going against a Reds team on Wednesday that can be very inconsistent could present an opportunity to make up some ground. Unfortunately, the rainy weather in the midwest had it's own plans.

Coming off back to back rough starts, the Twins Bailey Ober is probably hoping that he can get back to the form he showed in May. He was supposed to square off against Cincinnati starter Nick Lodolo who has shown flashes of brilliance in his career thanks to tremendous raw stuff, but who hasn't been able to stay healthy and his command comes and goes.

We will have to wait to see how this matchup plays out as the Twins' game on Wednesday against the Reds is officially in a rain delay.

**UPDATE: 7:26 PM CST**

As expected, this was a lengthy delay given the amount of weather in the area. However, the system is started to move off to the northwest and as long as the current forecast holds, the Reds expect this game to finally get started at 8:15 PM CST.

Twins vs. Reds Rain Delay - 6/18/25: When will the game start?

It is hard to say what the weather situation is going to do right now. Multiple games elsewhere in the league were postponed because of this big weather system, but that system is moving off to the north and Cincinnati isn't on the fringes of it according to the forecast. This one could end up getting banged, but a medium length delay seems to be the most likely outcome.

We will update this post as information as to when this game will start as well as any changes in the forecast become available. Relax, read up on the Twins, and keep checking back here for the latest updates as they are released.
