The Minnesota Twins will play their final spring training game of the year against the Boston Red Sox today. Zak Kent is slated to make the start on the mound for Minnesota, and 2026 World Baseball Classic champion Ranger Suárez is scheduled to start for Boston.
With Suárez being a lefty, and the Twins set to face a lefty in Trevor Rogers of the Baltimore Orioles on Opening Day, fans can expect to see everyone in today's lineup starting on Thursday.
Twins' final spring training lineup provides fans Opening Day sneak peek
I think it's pretty unlikely Austin Martin is your leadoff hitter, but with the Twins facing a lefty today in Ranger Suarez, this is a pretty good tell of the 9 guys you'll see on Opening Day in Baltimore. #MNTwins pic.twitter.com/C0IFE9Cx3p

As Goff said, the Opening Day lineup most likely won't be constructed this way. But fans can expect to see all of the players in a different order when the Twins take on the Orioles at Camden Yards in Baltimore at 2:05 CST on Thursday.
Martin will likely bat sixth or lower in the order on Thursday. Based on recent spring lineups, Luke Keaschall will probably bat leadoff, followed by Byron Buxton in the second spot. Three through six in the lineup should include Ryan Jeffers, Matt Wallner and Josh Bell- we'll just have to wait and see the order.
The Twins could also decide to show confidence in Royce Lewis by placing him higher in the lineup, but based on his immense spring struggles, it's hard to imagine he will bat higher than sixth.
As for Victor Caratini and Brooks Lee, fans should expect to see them near the bottom of the lineup on Thursday. And while Josh Bell will play plenty of first base for the Twins this year, Caratini, who can also play catcher, is a better defender, so he should start at the position on Opening Day.
One notable player left out of today’s lineup, and likely Thursday’s as well, is designated hitter/corner outfielder Trevor Larnach, whom many believe should be off the team in favor of outfielder Alan Roden, who was recently demoted to Triple-A St. Paul.
Regardless of what we fans think of Larnach, Minnesota clearly plans to have him regularly start this season. But as a left-handed batter, he will most likely primarily start against righties. Caratini will likely replace him in the lineup when the Twins face southpaws. Against righties, fans can expect to mainly see Bell at first base and Larnach at the designated hitter position.
As for the pitching, we already know that Joe Ryan will, unsurprisingly, start for Minnesota on Thursday. Hopefully, it won't be his last Opening Day start for Minnesota.
