The streakiest team in baseball seems to be at it again, only this time on the right side of things.

After starting june 1-7, the Twins have won four of their last five and are absolutely rocking offensively. Minnesota has scored 43 runs since getting shutout last Saturday in Pittsburgh, a penduluum swing that everyone hopes last longer than it did last time.

Consistency has been an issue for the Twins this season, but this is the perfect stretch of schedule to try and sort things out. Minnesota has three more games against the Oakland A's before getting a series against the sub-.500 Tampa Bay Rays. After that the Twins get another three games out west against the A's, so things are lined up for them to bounce back into the AL Central race in a pretty signifcant way if all goes well.

Friday will also mark the debut of the Twins' City Connect uniforms, which is yet another reason to tune in.

Twins vs. A's starting pitchers, June 14th

It's another golden opportunity for Simeon Woods Richardson (2-1, 2.84 ERA) to continue shining as the best surprise of the Twins rotation so far this season. There was so much weight placed on the shoulders of starters to try and replicate the success of last year, and while it's been a bit of a grind and has been far from perfect, the development of Woods Richardson has been so incredibly awesome to watch.

Every Twins fan knows his journey by now, but to see him continue to dominate the way he has is one of the best things to happen this season. Joe Ryan used a so-so lineup last night to continue his ascent this year and Woods Richardson will look to do the same on Friday night.

On the other side, the A's are sending out Mitch Spence (4-3, 3.68 ERA) to try and break the winning streak for Minnesota.

Minnesota Twins lineup vs. A's, June 14th

Anyone who was waiting on Twitter for the lineup to drop got gifted with a truly bizarre one that the Twins admin dropped. It's almost so crazy that the team should roll with it, just to see what happens. Thankfully the actual lineup is a little more sane, and one that should help power Minnesota to another win.

Here's what the Twins lineup will look like for its first-ever City Connect night:

  1. Willi Castro, 2B
  2. Trevor Larnach, DH
  3. Carlos Corra, SS
  4. Max Kepler, RF
  5. Jose Miranda, 3B
  6. Carlos Santana, 1B
  7. Byron Buxton, CF
  8. Manuel Margot, LF
  9. Christian Vazquez, C
