News and Notes
Milwaukee Brewers 5, Minnesota Twins 4
The Twins have to be ready to say goodbye to the Brewers Jesus Aguilar after he hit his third home run of the series and the Twins lost 5-4. It wasn’t a great start for Romero as he allowed three earned runs, four total, in his 5.0 innings of work, but somehow they were in the game until the end. The biggest news of the game was Jake Cave getting the call to the majors as Joe Mauer hit the DL. In his second at-bat, Cave hit a two-run home run for his first career major league hit.
May 20th Probable Starter: Junior Guerra vs. Jake Odorizzi at 1:10 PM CT
Syracuse Chiefs 1, Rochester Red Wings 2
With Miguel Sano in the DH spot, the Red Wings defeated Syracuse 2-1. Sano had a fairly quiet rehab start as he was 0-for-2 with two walks. Myles Jaye went 7.0 innings as the starting pitcher and allowed one run on one hit and one walk and added two strikeouts. Taylor Featherston was 2-for-4 with a triple and run scored.
May 20th Probable Starter: Aaron Slegers vs. Pawtucket Red Sox 12:05 PM CT
Chattanooga Lookouts 2, Biloxi Shuckers 3
In a reverse score from Friday, the Lookouts fell short of defeating Biloxi by a score of 3-2. The Lookouts lost in the 9th inning as two unearned runs crossed the plate with Tyler Jay on the mound. Omar Bencomo gave the Lookouts a good start as he pitched 7.0 innings and allowed one run on five hits and struck out six batters. Tanner English was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Zander Wiel was 2-for-4 and scored a run.

St. Lucie Mets 0, Fort Myers Miracle 2 suspended by rain in 3rd inning
The Miracle were forced to suspend their game with the St. Lucie Mets due to rain. They will complete Saturday’s game today as well as play their regularly scheduled game.
May 20th Probable Starter: TBD vs. St. Lucie Mets at 3:00 PM CT
Cedar Rapids Kernels 6, Clinton LumberKings 4
The Kernels were able to come on strong in the 7th and 8th innings to defeat Clinton 6-4 Saturday. Akil Baddoo was 2-for-4 with a run scored, walk, and stolen base. Alex Kirilloff was 2-for-5 with an RBI. Jordan Gore was the most productive hitter for the Kernels as he went 3-for-4 with a run scored, two RBIs, and a stolen base.
