One Last Thing
When Joe Mauer singled in the 7th inning on Tuesday night (roughly 0:47 in the video), he did something that he’s been known for in his career as he once again broke up a no-hitter.
Huh, Joe Mauer broke up a no-hitter. I swear I've seen this somewhere before...https://t.co/odtEcDE6Tl via @YouTube

According to a website that tracks no-hitters lost in the 9th inning, Mauer is tied for the lead of career no-hitters broken up in the 9th inning.
I did try to track on Baseball Reference’s Play Index a way to find players who got the first hit of a game that was hitless through 5 innings, for instance, but this was the response I got:
Sorry, we don't have a Play Index query for that one

So, for now, we know that Mauer has a knack for getting the first hit of the game in the 9th inning, and there have been multiple other games where he got the first hit of the game that I can find video evidence on YouTube, so I wager he’s done this a few more times in his career.
