One Last Thing

Ten years ago today, Barry Bonds hit his 756th home run of his career to move into first place on the all-time list. Though he was in the National League for his career, he did face the Minnesota Twins 3 times in his career, with 13 plate appearances, going .364/.462/.818 with a triple, a home run, and 3 RBI. He did not ever appear in Minnesota, however, only appearing against the Twins in an interleague series in San Francisco.

Bonds did make a number of memorable All-Star moments, one of them being with former Minnesota Twins center fielder Torii Hunter in the video above from the 2002 All Star game. Against Twins pitchers in All-Star games, he only had one plate appearance against a Twin, when he faced Eddie Guardado in 2003, grounding out.
