Following a very long delay between games, the Minnesota Twins and Baltimore Orioles finally finished their series after having to postpone their final game due to rain.
Kyle Gibson took the mound against Kevin Gausman and pitched quite efficiently as he held the Orioles in check for just two runs in the Minnesota Twins 6-2 victory.
The bullpen did their job after Gibson exited following six strong innings by tossing three shutout innings between Ryan Pressly, Fernando Abad and Brandon Kintzler.
Gibson allowed a first-inning blast to Adam Jones then Joe Mauer tripled in a run to tie things at one before a J.J. Hardy single put the Orioles up 2-1.

After Max Kepler tied things up again at 2-all with a solo home run in the sixth, Pressly struck out Manny Machado during a big at-bat in the seventh.
That’s when the offense of the Minnesota Twins decided it was time to take over.
First Brian Dozier singled in a run and then Kepler drove in another.
Not to be outdone, Eddie Rosario tripled to center, bringing both Dozier and Kepler around to score and make it 6-2.
For Rosario, it was only his second triple of the season after leading all rookies with 15 last season.
Upcoming Schedule
The Minnesota Twins will begin a weekend series with the division rival Chicago White Sox.
