On one hand it feels like camp has just begun, on the other it must be in full bore. Yesterday, we saw ex-Minnesota Twins closer Matt Capps be cut by the Atlanta Braves in the first waves of cuts for their team. Cuts won’t be happening any time soon for the Twins.

The minor leaguers are just reporting today, which is where a bulk of the cuts will be, so not a lot of the cuts that are to be have even been seen yet. Terry Ryan told the Star Tribune that he will be waiting to make the cuts.
If you are worried about the chance of your favorite minor leaguer being cut, I have just the thing to cheer you up.

And they are making a Zoolander 2, so it’s truly a great day. That green grass will be played on in a month and three days. The Twins home opener is April 13 against the Kansas City Royals with a first pitch time of 3:10.
The regular season is less than a month away! The Twins open up the regular season on April 6 in Detroit against the Tigers. First pitch is scheduled for 12:08.
