One Last Thing

The last time that the Twins sent three All-Stars to the game, the game was also an extra-inning affair that was eventually won by the American League. In fact, the winning run in the 2008 game was scored by Justin Morneau.

In that game, Joe Mauer started the game at catcher and had a single and a walk. Joe Nathan threw a perfect 7th inning with a strikeout. Justin Morneau came in to the game in the 6th inning and finished 2-4 with a double, a walk, and 2 runs scored, including the winning run in the 15th inning.
