The Minnesota Twins have certainly played better stretches of baseball than they have recently. They are on a four game losing streak including Friday night's matchup with the Red Sox that saw Brayan Bello absolutely dominate the Twins' lineup. Minnesota would love to wash the stink of that defeat off today, but Mother Nature is causing some issues there.
The weather all over the US is very wet today with a number of games expected to either be delayed or postponed completely. One such game that was in the path of the storms was the Twins-Red Sox game which is now in a rain delay after getting through six innings.

Twins vs. Red Sox Rain Delay, 5/3: Here is when the game is supposed to start
There is some hope that this game will get finished today, but it is a bit of a coin flip. The forecast shows a roughly 50/50 chance of rain the rest of the day in the Boston area. They may just be playing things safe here, but it feels like they will at least try to finish this game up.
**UPDATE - 7:00 PM EST**
As it turns out, the wait wasn't too bad at all. After about an hour wait, the final three innings of this game will resume at 7:10 PM EST.

However, now that they have already gone more than five innings, the Twins probably wouldn't mind at all if they just called the game instead of playing the final three innings. With a 4-1 lead, Minnesota would get the win if it was decided that no more baseball could be played today.
We will keep this post updated as more details come out as to whether or not this game will get finished today and what time it might resume. Best guess is that they will try, but waiting around all night before a day game on Sunday doesn't seem ideal.
