Twins vs. Mariners Rain Delay: Latest updates on the weather delay and when the game should start
There is a chance of rain in the forecast for Minneapolis through 9 p.m., which suggests it may be a while before this game starts. The Twins’ meteorologist, Mace Michaels, shared a photo of the weather radar in Minneapolis, suggesting it will be a long day of bad weather.

Since the game is the series finale, both teams will likely want to play today to avoid a makeup date later in the season. Mariners insider Shannon Dryer reported via social media that there is a feeling both teams will do everything they can to get the game in, meaning a postponement will most likely only occur if there is absolutely no way to play today.
We are officially in a delay. The feeling is they will do everything they can to get the game in. In other words, we are going to be here for awhile.

Neither pitchers were seen warming up before the game, so Simeon Woods Richardson and Emerson Hancock should both be good to go if/when the rain dies down.
