Pitchers and Catchers Report

Pitchers and catchers have reported to Fort Myers on Thursday, with the first full team working scheduled for Monday, Feb. 17! There are a few new faces, but lots of old friends to keep an eye on as well, whether it be their health, or to see if they can take the next step forward.

The Twins' first spring training game will be against the Braves on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12:05 pm.

Saints Ticket Info

The Saint Paul Saints have announced their 2025 ticket options for when you want to drive across town and watch some future Twins at CHS Field. Tickets will go on sale on Saturday, Feb. 15.

The box office will open at 9 am and can be purchased online starting at 10 am. Tickets start as low as $5, so attending a game to watch the future Twins isn't too pricey. The first Saints home game will take place on Friday, March 29 against the Pittsburgh Pirates affiliate, the Indianapolis Indians.

You can look at the various ticket options at Saints Ticket Options. Some highlights include the group outings, 10-game mini-plans, and season ticket options. The promotional schedule will be revealed soon, so keep your eye out for that.

There are also some daily promotions for different days of the week, which include:

  • Sun Country Travel Tuesdays
  • Explore Minnesota Wednesdays
  • Thirsty Thursdays (featuring $2 beers and 2 for 1 Bud Light Seltzers)
  • Friday Night Fireworks
  • Treasure Island Saturdays
  • Cub Family Sunday, featuring kids getting to run the bases and player autographs on the field, which brings back memories of doing that at Midway Stadium where the Saints used to play.
  • The Post-Game Blaze Credit Union Fireworks Supershow on May 25 and Post-Game Fireworks Supershows (June 28 and September 13) are an additional $4 per ticket.

One group outing that looks like a neat experience is the fireside seats which will be available at games from March 28-May 11.

This package includes four tickets to the game and four Saints beanies along with a Fireside S'mores kit to enjoy during the game.

Fans can purchase tickets by phone at 651-644-6659, or visiting saintsbaseball.com, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Prior to Feb. 15 the only way fans can assure a seat to 2025 games at CHS Field are season tickets (full or half season), a 10-game mini plan, a group of 25 or more, or unique promotional ticket packages.

Around the League

Alex Bregman has signed a three-year, $120 million deal with the Boston Red Sox with opt outs after the first two years. Bregman took a shorter deal, and will likely re-enter the free agency market after the 2025 season, provided he is healthy and productive.

According to Jeff Passan of ESPN, it appears Bregman will play second base for the Red Sox, with Rafael Devers at third and Triston Casas slated to play first. Bregman has played most of his career at third base but will make a shift in Boston to deepen that lineup for at least the 2025 season.

The Twins will face Bregman and the Red Sox during Spring Training, but you can see Bregman in his new threads when the Red Sox visit Target Field at the end of July (28-30).
