The 2025 MLB season was a fun one, even for the Minnesota Twins. Despite finishing 70-92 in the standings, the Twins definitely had some standout players, and also highlight-worthy plays.
Major League Baseball took a rewind to flash back to the Top 100 plays of the season. The Twins made up three of those plays, thanks to two from Byron Buxton and one from Harrison Bader. Let's check them out.

July 12, 2025: Byron Buxton hits for the cycle
Going into this game, no player had ever hit for the cycle since Target Field opened in 2010. Buxton pulled it off in a 5-for-5 performance with three runs scored and two RBIs.
Buxton singled in the 1st inning, tripled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, singled again in the 5th, then homered in the 7th frame to capture the cycle. His home run was launched 427 feet with a 106 MPH exit velo, giving Minnesota an 11-3 lead over Pittsburgh.

April 22, 2025: Byron Buxton robs Andrew Benintendi to end the game
In the 9th inning, the White Sox were coming back against the Twins at Target Field. With a 4-2 lead, Jhoan Duran tried getting the Twins out of a jam. Chicago had two runners in scoring position with two outs.
Andrew Benintendi laced a 101.2 MPH line drive to the right-center field gap, but Buxton had a jump on it. Diving to his left at the warning track, he made the game-ending and game-saving catch.

April 27, 2025: Harrison Bader goes a long way to take a hit from Taylor Ward
In the top of the 7th inning, Joe Ryan was riding a scoreless outing. To start off the inning, Taylor Ward ripped a line drive 108.2 MPH deep towards center field.
Ranging back and to his right, Harrison Bader dove to make a spectacular catch.
