Luke Keaschall barely played this past season, but he sure made his time on the field count. The 23-year-old rookie logged 49 games for the Minnesota Twins in 2025, but his numbers were impressive enough to earn an award.

The Twins' X account shared that Keaschall was named to the All-Rookie First Team after compiling a 2.0 bWAR in just 207 plate appearances.

Keaschall joins Byron Buxton among Twins award winners in 2025 after Buxton was given his first-ever Silver Slugger.

Keaschall had a hot start to his MLB career. He started off with a six-game hitting streak (7-for-19) in April with three doubles before getting hurt, and would not see time in the majors until August 5.

Then in August, Keaschall batted .305 in 23 games with four home runs, six doubles, 17 RBIs, and 11 runs scored. He followed that up with a solid September, batting .284 with nine RBIs.

For his entire 2025 season, Keaschall's slash line was .302/.382/.445/.827 with a 128+ OPS. He powered 18 extra-base hits and stole 14 bases. As the Twins look to continue building their roster, fans are hoping to see more of Keaschall's success again. It was in a small dosage, but those 49 games were electric for the rookie. He will not be rookie eligible next season, but we are hoping to see him continue to develop at the MLB level. He will definitely be a player to watch coming into 2026 as a top second baseman across baseball.
