Fans will have a new way to watch their favorite baseball teams this season. After the Minnesota Twins decided to cut ties with Diamond Sports Group (Bally Sports North), Major League Baseball took streaming the Twins' games, among others, in-house. As of Tuesday, that package is available for purchase, but games will start being streamed on March 16.

The team now allows fans living in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Western Wisconsin to watch the team with no blackout restrictions. To do so, fans will have to purchase the Twins.tv package for $99.99 for the entire season or $19.99 per month. Either package would come out to be less than $1 per game.
For fans who are current season ticket holders or ticket plan members, the year-long package will be 50 percent off. Any fan who purchases the full season package before April 1 will receive 50 percent off tickets to April and May home games, including the home opener on April 3.
The broadcast will have a combination of new features. For select home games, the broadcast will feature Ump Cam, Wire Cam, a new RF Camera angle, and exclusive interviews with players. It will also feature clickable linescores, box scores, and a Catch Up Mode to see what action was missed.
A new way to stream doesn't mean everything is changing. Fans will be happy to learn most of the broadcast crew will remain the same.
The popular voice of the Twins, Cory Provus will be leading the play-by-play. Former MVP and Minnesota Twins Hall-of-Famer Justin Morneau will be returning to the booth to join Provus as the lead analyst.
Featured analysts include former Twins LaTroy Hawkins, Trevor Plouffe, Glen Perkins and Denard Span. Audra Martin will be handling reporting duties during the broadcast and former Twin Tim Laudner will be working with Katie Storm to take on pre- and post-game shows at Target Field.
The broadcast will be run by Emmy-winning producer, Trevor Fleck.
