The MLB Postseason is finally here, and for the Minnesota Twins are trying for their first win in 18 attempts. While the excitement of October baseball is here, the cloud of the Twins historic losing streak hangs over everything.

For the first time in what feels like forever -- or nearly two decades if you're counting -- the Twins have a team built to win in October. Pitching is a strength, with the staff owning the second-best ERA among AL playoff teams, and the offense is starting to click at the right time.

Royce Lewis, Carlos Correa, and Edouard Julien are leading the charge and have fans feeling like this is finally going to be the year the curse breaks and the franchise gets over the hump. It won't be easy, but unlike the other 162 games this year watching the games will be.

MLB Playoffs 2023: How to watch Minnesota Twins on TV and live stream

There will be no local broadcast of any game moving forward, which means Twins fans are free from the clutches of Bally Sports North. All playoff games this October will air on one of these big networks:

  • ABC
  • ESPN
  • ESPN 2
  • TBS
  • FS1
  • FOX

The Twins will begin their journey with the AL Wild Card series against the Blue Jays airing ESPN. Michael Kay and Alex Rodriguez will be on the call, which is hopefully only two games since that would mean a Minnesota sweep.

As we've said before, though, all we need right now is just a single win. If that curse is going to be broken and nearly two decades of misery comes to an end, it will be on ESPN airwaves that fans can watch.

ESPN is the only network broadcasting the Wild Card round in either league, as all four matchups will happen binge-mode style over the first three days of the postseason. After that, FOX and FS1 will get American League games while TBS will broadcast National League games for the next two rounds.

This year's World Series will begin on October 27th and be broadcast on FOX.
