It’s a crazy time of year for sports teams in Minnesota, and fans are being forced to scramble in order to catch all of the action.

For the second time in a week, three teams will be in action at the same time with two of them fighting for their lives in the playoffs. While it’s different stakes for each team involved, all three games have must-watch elements to them which creates a bit of a broadcasting conundrum.

Down in Texas, the Wild are attempting to regain control of their first-round series against the Stars. If Minnesota loses, Friday’s game back in St. Paul will be a win-or-go-home affair.

That’s the predicament the Timberwolves find themselves in as they head back to Denver for Game 5 against the top-seeded Nuggets. The Wolves rode an epic performance by Anthony Edwards to an overtime upset win on Sunday, but the Wolves are officially backed into a corner down 3-1 in the series.

Comparatively, the Twins have the lowest stakes of the three teams but that lacks tremendous context. For the first time in two decades the Twins are a win away from clinching a season series against the hated New York Yankees. Last night’s dominating performance by Sonny Gray has the Twins with a 3-2 edge in the five games played against the Yankees and a win on Tuesday night seals the deal.

The question isn’t which games fans in Minnesota should watch, it’s how can they watch all three and which channels will they be on.

Just like Friday, Bally Sports North has to pick two if the three games to air leaving the third to be broadcast elsewhere. BSN will air the Wild and Wolves games, understandably so, som e they’re premier playoff games.

That means the Twins will once again be relegated to FOX 9+ for tonight’s game.

  • Date: Tuesday, April 25, 2023
  • Game Time: 6:30 PM CT
  • Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
  • Stadium: Target Field
  • Local TV Channel: FOX 9+
  • National TV Channel: MLB.tv
  • Live Stream: Fubo

It's mildly annoying to have to search around for FOX 9+, but struggling to find the Twins game is nothing new for fans. Fans have found it impossible to catch games for a while now, so this is just an ew wrinkle to the whole drama.

That being said, here's where to find FOX 9+ on your local cable provider:

The Wild will be on Bally Sports North, with the Wolves game airing on Bally Sports North Extra. If you're outside of the Minnesota viewing area, none of this is really a problem for you. Catch the Twins on MLB.tv, the Wild on TBS, and the Wolves on TNT.
