Minnesota Twins Promotions 2023: April giveaways
Aside from July, which features the next highest number of promotions in a month, April is the sweet spot for fans hoping to come out to Target Field and leave with more than a win.
The first five home games will feature giveaways, including Opening Day 2.0 on April 6th. The Houston Astros come to Minneapolis for the Twins home opener, but only two of those giveaways are for adults. The final game of the series against Houston will be the first of many Kids Only giveaways, as fans 12 years old and under will get a different version of the Opening Day hat being given away.
Best Promo: Byron Buxton Replica Jersey (April 22nd vs. Washington)
The Twins Bomber Hat was a close second, as it falls in the middle of the Venn diagram for promos being both Twins-centric and also useful. It’s hard to top getting a free jersey, though. While it won’t be Team Store quality, the Twins have done a really nice job over the last few seasons of putting together high-quality jerseys for the themed giveaways (with the Prince baseball jersey particularly standing out).
Hardest Promo: T-Shirt Tuesday (April 25th vs. New York Yankees)
This will be the first of a handful of special edition shirts given away for every Tuesday home game this season. They’re limited to just the first 5,000 fans, and happens during a game against the Yankees which is surely going to draw a bigger crowd than a random Tuesday game against Detroit.
