There was a lot to love about what the Minnesota Twins did on Sunday.

Carlos Correa continues to dunk all over his critics, as he once again went off in both games of a doubleheader against the A's. Royce Lewis followed that up pretty closely by homering in both games, and the Twins polished off a series sweep of Oakland to pull within a half-game of the Royals in the AL Central.

Just about everyone got in on the action this weekend, with Max Kepler both tying and then winning the game on Friday night. Jose Miranda finished things up by hitting a home run that ended up carrying the Twins to a win on Sunday night, but Austin Martin had one of the plays of the weekend in between.

He helped with his bat, but it was Martin's glove that had Twins fans swooning over the sort of impact he can have as he continues to settle into a role with the team.

In the second inning, Martin made a leaping grab at the wall to rob Shea Langeliers of a home run. At the time it preserved a two-run lead for Minnesota, but it ended up being something that ultimately proved even more important in the end.

Not only were Twins fans gifted a moment that harkened back to the days of Torii Hunter, but Cory Provus turned in a classic call to make things even better.

Had Martin not reeled in that catch, the game would have been tied and might have broken a different way. Jose Miranda hit a go-ahead home run in the seventh inning but the Twins only won by a single run. This robbery by Austin might have made the difference between Minnesota sweeping the A's with a 8-7 victory and falling short by a few runs.

Everyone was hyped for Martin to get called up, and he's taken a bit to settle in. He's already been sent down and called up a few times but it seems that this time might be the charm. Martin's offense helped contribute to a win on Sunday but it could be argued that this home run robbery was the biggest play of the weekend -- and one that proves he needs a spot on the roster for the foreseeable future.
