For the first time this season, the Minnesota Twins game will not be on traditional television. No, this isn't some nightmarish return of the issues we saw with Bally Sports North last year; rather, it's a regularly scheduled blip thanks to Apple TV+.
Friday Night Baseball on Apple TV+ is entering its third season, and the Twins number has been called. That means the game tonight against the Detroit Tigers will not be broadcast on Twins TV. For anyone getting PTSD from how games were cut out of broadcast packages around this time last year, this is also how it worked under Bally Sports North as well, so there's no real change here other than the game will be a little harder to find.
Thankfully, there's an easy way to watch if anyone is loking to subject themselves to the brand of baseball the Twins are playing right now. At least it's going to come through in 4K, so the viewng experience of the trainwreck will be clean to watch.
Here's how to watch Twins-Tigers on Apple TV+'s Friday Night Baseball
Here's everything fans need to know to catch tonight's game:
- Date: Friday, April 11, 2025
- Game Time: 7:10 PM CT
- Location: Minneapolis, MN
- Stadium: Target Field
- Local TV Channel: Not Available
- National TV Channel: Apple TV+
- Live Stream: Apple TV+
Given the way the Twins have been playing lately, it's probably a good thing this game is behind a paywall.
If anyone is looking to tune in, though, there is a limited-time offer to subscribe for Apple TV+ for $2.99/month for three months that will give fans access to tonight's game. It will also come in handy next Friday when the Twins are back on Apple TV+ for a game against the Atlanta Braves. If anyone tries out the deal, be aware that the price increases to its typical $9.99/month rate after the little trial period is over.
