The Minnesota Twins learned that Game 3 of the ALDS will start at 7:40 p.m. CT, meaning that Twins fans are likely in for a long night.
The Minnesota Twins are still putting together the final pieces before the beginning of their American League Divisional Series with the New York Yankees. After Major League Baseball dropped the start time of the first two games of the series, the Twins learned what time they’re going to throw their first pitch for Game 3.
As it turns out, Monday will be a long night for Twins fans as they’ll have to wait until 7:40 p.m. CT for the start of Game 3. With it likely being a pivotal game for the series with either team heading in up/down 2-0 or tied at a game a piece, that will not stop Twins fans from showing up to Target Field in droves for the first playoff game there in nine years.
The good news is that if the Twins make it to Game 4, Tuesday night’s game will have a more traditional start time at 7:07 p.m. CT Should the series make it to five games, the deciding game will be played at Yankee Stadium with a 4:07 p.m. CT start with the rest of the games being broadcast on FS1.
The Twins and Yankees will kick off their series on Friday night with first pitch at Yankee Stadium scheduled for 6:07 p.m. CT and is televised on MLB Network. Game 2 will take place on Saturday in the Bronx at 5:07 p.m. CT and will be televised on FS1.
