The Minnesota Twins have some great writers covering them. “Linking around Twins Territory” is small a collection in one place for Puckett’s Pond readers.

One of the greatest things about writing about the Minnesota Twins at Puckett’s Pond is that we are no different than most of you reading us. We are fans. And like you, we are reading all the other great content that is being written about our favorite team the Twins.

Below is a collection of some of the most recent pieces being written around Twins Territory. Enjoy!

This one comes from the team of guys over at Twins Daily. If you like to take a look at who the Twins have in the minor leagues you will like this piece. The Twins Daily guys take a look at which Twins prospects have the best tools and naming one player as best with each tool. Take a click and see if Royce Lewis, Alex Kirilloff and others take home any honors.

Judd Zulgad explores an aspect of the Cruz signing that he certainly views just as important as anything the slugger will do at the plate. Cruz is exactly the sort of player that the Twins would like to see their young, but struggling, slugger Miguel Sano to learn from. Take a read for some more of Zulgad’s thoughts on Cruz becoming Sano’s mentor.

This article is mentioned in the Zulgad piece, but I found it interesting enough that I wanted to highlight it again here. It was written by Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times and is a great peak behind the curtain of the preparation that goes into each game day for Nelson Cruz. It was quite impressive to see what he does each step of the way. And if you are with Judd on Cruz mentoring Sano, photos within this piece made it clear that Cruz’s physique is something that would be great for Sano to replicate.
