Next: 5 Players the Twins should consider trading for
Ervin Santana a year removed from his two-hit shutout
It only seems appropriate that as Ervin Santana works his way back into the rotation by starting his rehab assignment that we celebrate an anniversary of his. A year ago today, Santana pitched a gem of a game as the Twins defeated the Orioles 2-0. Santana in going the full nine and not surrendering a run allowed two hits and two walks and struck out six batters. Hopefully, Santana will be back up with the Twins soon and he can continue making positive contributions like this in 2018.
