Thoughts
While many talk about J.T. Chargois, Curtiss, Randy Rosario, and other relievers, Sam Clay has been one of the best-performing relievers in the minor leagues this season. He’s in his first year in the bullpen after converting from being a starter at Georgia Tech, where the Twins drafted him in 2014. The upper level rotations cover the starting pitcher statistical leaderboards, which is a good sign for the very near future and the rotation that the Twins could put up very soon.

One To Watch
One guy who seemed to end up in the top 10 of every single statistic was Australian outfielder Aaron Whitefield, a 20 year-old in low-A Cedar Rapids. He’s hit .274/.331/.440 with 53 runs, 13 doubles, 5 triples, 10 home runs, 39 RBI, and 25 SB. He has struggled some with his strikeouts, but he has an incredible toolset across the board and should be watched for a possible promotion to Fort Myers in the last month, and for sure should be watched in 2018 and going forward in the Twins system!
