Will the Twins be buyers at the trade deadline?

The Twins have a plethora of young talent in their farm system and could add some impact players at the deadline in their pursuit of the playoffs. Will they part with any of their prized talent is the question?

Buxton, Miguel Sano and Jose Berrios are untouchables, but one has to imagine that every other prospect is fair game.

The Twins could trade for bullpen help. The bullpen for the Twins hasn’t been horrible, but they will need an upgrade it if they are going to make any noise in the second half of the season and if they plan on advancing in the playoffs.

They could look to upgrade the catcher position, as veteran, Kurt Suzuki has been a major disappointment after an All-Star season in 2014.

They could also look to add a center fielder to be a stopgap until the Twins deem Buxton is ready for big league pitching.

The Twins looking for an upgrade at shortstop is never out of the question either. Danny Santana has been a disappointment after a successful rookie season. Eduardo Escobar and Eduardo Nunez form a solid platoon, but far from great.

The Twins lack power and they could look to add a power bat at the deadline.

It would not be shocking to see the Twins be major players at the deadline. But, they may choose to stand pat and see where their current roster takes them.
