Minnesota Twins: A Good Night for the Chattanooga Lookouts

The Chattanooga Lookouts were well represented in the Southern League All-Star Game last night. Seven Lookout players played and six of the seven are among the Top 30 prospects for the Minnesota Twins.

Jose Berrios, the Twins number four-rated prospect picked up the win. Berrios pitched one inning and recorded two strikeouts. Berrios is tied for the Southern League lead in strikeouts. He has all the tools to be the future ace for the Twins.

Miguel Sano, the Twins number two-rated prospect had a good night at the plate. The power hitting third baseman went 2-5 with a double and one RBI.

Jorge Polanco the Twins number seven-rated prospect went 2-2 and scored a run. Polanco has a good bat, but is a work in progress in the field.

Adam Brett Walker II had a big night. The Twins number 12 rated prospect won the Home Run Derby by hitting 13 home runs. Walker leads the Southern League in home runs with 19. Walker went 1-5 at the plate and scored a pair of runs.

Max Kepler the Twins number 14 rated prospect went 0-2 with a walk and scored a run. Kepler is fresh off being named the Southern League Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Zach Jones the Twins number 22 rated prospect recorded the final two outs of the game. The right-handed reliever recorded one strikeout.

The Twins have one of the best farm systems in baseball it was well on display last night.
