Minnesota Twins Send Out Good Luck Video To Minnesota Wild

We have a reason for Joe Mauer’s beard, Glen Perkins already knowing what he’s watching on TV next week and Torii Hunter wanting to drink… Because it’s the cup.

The Minnesota Twins have produced a  video congratulating their comrades across the border on their season and wishing them good luck in the Stanley Cup Playoffs before the Minnesota Wild take on the St. Louis Blues in Missouri tonight (Thursday).

Featured in the video is new manager Paul Molitor, All-Star closer Glen Perkins, second base slugger Brian Dozier, former AL MVP Joe Mauer and the comeback kid Torii Hunter.

The Wild and the Blues faceoff in game one of the first round at 8:30 tonight with game two in St. Louis on Saturday at 2:00. The Wild have their first home game of the playoffs on Monday with a puck drop at 7 p.m. Game four at the Xcel Energy Center is set for Wednesday at 8:30.

The rest of the series has to be determined times. If they are needed games five, six and seven will be played next Friday, Sunday in Wednesday going from St. Louis to St. Paul and then back to the Gateway of the West.
