The lowest Meyer has appeared on any prospect lists, he finds himself in the sixties for Baseball America. Now 25 years old and still yet to pitch beyond Triple-A, time is running out for Meyer to claim the top-tier starter potential he once was linked to. Expect Meyer to get a very real look at the starting rotation during Spring Training, with a Twins debut coming shortly thereafter.
With his tall frame, control is always going to be something he needs to works towards refining. The lone piece waiting to be figured out before making his debut, Meyer boasts strong strikeout potential, and should be an asset for the Twins in whatever capacity he pitches in. Getting Meyer to the big leagues in 2015 should be the Twins first order of business.
