Top Ten Promotions For The Minnesota Twins 2015 Season
On Friday morning, the Minnesota Twins released the news of what I wait for every single year: the promotions. The promotions might’ve went downhill a little bit in the first seasons at Target Field. The squad didn’t really need them with the new ballpark smell still in the air, but they are back this year. FOUR BOBBLEHEADS!
I’ve been doing a list of what the best promotions are at Twins games for a handful of years now and this year might be my favorite year. There is a lot of good stuff up for grabs, but you’ll have to get to the ballpark early for it.
The ten I list will go in order of date, so we start at the home opener and we finish at the final home weekend of the 2015 regular season. Our first promotion, anyone at the ballpark will get.

Monday, April 13 – vs. Kansas City – Twins Hoodie Sweatshirt (Sizes M/L) – Everybody
A lot of people should be at the home opener anyway, but a promotion for everyone surely doesn’t hurt. The sweatshirt is a nice navy blue perfect for any Twins fan. The only problem here is that the only listed sizes are medium and large which cuts out a lot of folks, but it is still perfect for regifting.
Saturday, May 2 – vs. Chicago White Sox – Twins Fur Bomber Hat – 10,000
Back by popular demand, the fur bomber hat is coming back to Target Field. Look like the Red Baron with fur when you go to a chilly Twins game by putting on this cozy hat. Make sure and be one of the first 10,00 people through the door to get your head on this one.

Saturday, June 6 – vs. Milwaukee Brewers – Torii Hunter jersey (Sizes M/XL) – 10,000 18+
He’s back and so are the give-aways of his uniform, but this time it’s the up and coming adult jersey promotion. The first 10,000 folks that can legally buy lottery tickets will get their hands on one of the new white with gold trim uniforms that has Hunter’s name and number on it. This time it’s either medium or XL, so at least more people can be included.

Friday, June 19 – vs. Chicago Cubs – Paul Molitor Bobblehead – 10,000
It’s the first of FOUR bobblehead nights at Target Field this summer. Batting leadoff is new manager Paul Molitor, I’d expect there to be a line for this one and really all of the bobbleheads. Throw in the fact that the Twins are playing the Cubbies, there is no reason not to be at Target Field on June 19 or the 21…
Sunday, June 21 (Father’s Day) – vs. Chicago Cubs – Minnie and Paul Ceramic Stein – 10,000 21+ Males
Father’s Day always brings a good promotion and it rings true in 2015. A nice ol’ mug with Minnie and Paul on the art work. It’d look great in any home bar or Twins memorabilia collection. They will not check if you are a father or not at the gate, but you have to be one of the first 10,000 males who can legally buy an alcoholic beverage.

Saturday, July 11 – vs. Detroit Tigers – Phil Hughes Bobblehead – 10,000
It’s a run of bobbleheads now. Phil Hughes pitched marvelously a year ago and the Twins are hoping that he repeats that success in 2015. The Twins have reward him with his own bobblehead that the first 10,000 fans can grab. I only wish this game was against the Yankees.

Saturday, July 25 – vs. New York Yankees – Brian Dozier Bobblehead – 10,000
Speaking of the Yankees, when they come to town Twins fans can get their hands on the beautiful bobblehead flow of second baseman Brian Dozier. 10,000 mini Doziers will be given away and I would not be shocked if 10,000 women are lining up outside the doors. I’ll be right there with them.
Saturday, August 1 – vs. Seattle Mariners – 1965 Vintage Bobblehead – 10,000
August 1st is a special day. The Minnesota Twins are celebrating 50 years since they’ve made the playoffs… Oh, 50 years since the AL Champion 1965 team. Whoops. In correlation with the celebration, the first 10,000 inside Target Field will be handed a retro bobble.

Sunday, August 16 – vs. Cleveland Indians – T.C. Plush – 5,000
It might be kind of childish, but anyone can grab it. The first 5,000 fans on August 16 will be given a T.C. the Bear plush. You can take Minnesota’s favorite bear home with you in an adorable mini-plush version that I’m sure will be perfect for snuggling with or throwing at the TV when Joe Mauer takes a pitch right down the middle.
FRI/SAT, October 2 & 3 – vs. Kansas City Royals – Twins Stocking Cap – All Fans
The first two days of the last weekend at Target Field, regular season anyway, the Twins will be giving out stocking caps if you just come to the game. Blue and red with the alternate logo on them, the hats will be keeping you warm throughout the long baseball-less winter.

May 29 – vs. Blue Jays
June 5 – vs. Brewers
June 19 – vs. Cubs
July 10 – vs. Tigers
July 24 – vs. Yankees
July 31 – vs. Mariners
August 14 – vs. Indians
August 28 – vs. Astros
