Minnesota Twins Trade Kevin Correia to the Los Angeles Dodgers

I hope you weren’t a big Kevin Correia fan. I hope that for multiple reasons, but the main reason is because Kevin Correia is no longer a member of the Minnesota Twins. Late Saturday night the Twins shipped the starter off to the Los Angeles Dodgers for a player to be named later or possibly some cash.
#Dodgers acquire veteran RHP Kevin Correia from Twins in exchange for a PTBNL or cash considerations.

It isn’t a huge shock that Kevin Correia is gone. Kevin’s just don’t seem to stick in these here Twin Cities, but Correia did survive a year and a half with the Minnesota Twins. A year and a half we’ll hopefully forget pretty soon.
Currently Correia leads the league with 13 losses in his 5-13 record. Correia also currently has a 4.94 ERA and a 1.461 WHIP in 129.1 innings over 23 starts.
It’s not a sad day to see Correia go because the departure of Correia means another rotation spot has now opened up for some of the up and coming young guns in the minors to take.
Have fun with the playoff-bound and then some Dodgers, Kevin Correia.
