May has started in 17 games this year for Triple-A Rochester with a 2.93 ERA and an 8-6 record. May’s WHIP this season sits at 1.175 with 3.5 walks per nine and 8.6 strikeouts per nine as well.
May came to the Twins organization before last season in the Ben Revere trade. That trade also brought over Vance Worley, but we won’t get into that. May is currently 24-years-old and has seven years of minor league ball under his belt.
Trevor May draws a very valiant opponent in his first duel on the mound. Oakland will send out Jeff Samardzija on Saturday.
