The Minnesota Twins are at home for a very odd little homestand. When I say little homestand, I mean very little. Two games little. Tuesday night marks the first of two from recently Paul McCartney rocked Target Field between the hometown Twins and the visiting San Diego Padres.

First Impressions

  • Both teams have near identical records which means we’ll see some GREAT baseball on the diamond these next two days.
  • The new guy, Jordan Schafer, is in the lineup. Let’s see what he doesn’t bring to the plate.
  • Lot of y’s in the first names of the starting Padres.
  • I am not at all familiar with nearly any of these San Diegans.
  • Vargas goes deep tonight. I’ve got a feeling. Maybe it’s that microwavable sandwich I had for lunch…

Game Time

First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 from beautiful Target Field in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The game can be seen on Fox Sports North and heard across the Twins Radio Network.
