There’s a line of light rain from the Wisconsin border to the South Dakota border right now, but it looks like the Minnesota Twins will play ball on Saturday afternoon. There might be another beer delay like Friday night, but Twins President Dave St. Peter has said on Twitter the team will play today.

The Twins will look to even the three game series on with the Houston Astros today after dropping Friday night’s contest. The Gardy Gnome is being giving away at the gate, so that should help the early gate and more beer sales.

First Impressions

  • Why is Danny Santana DHing? Why?
  • We have a Chris Parmelee sighting.
  • Alex Presley, ex-Twin, is in the lineup for Houston. I’ll not comment on that whole situation.
  • Jason Castro was born in Castro Valley, CA which is kind of badass.

Game Time

First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 at beautiful Target Field in downtown Minneapolis.

The game can be seen on FOX Sports North and heard on the Twins Radio Network.
