Let’s try this again. The Minnesota Twins lost the first of a four game set against the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday night. Monday’s game started at 6:20 in a promotion with the radio station that carries Brewers game in case you were wondering what was up with that weird time yesterday. I know I was. Anyway to the lineups for Tuesday’s ballgame:

Minnesota Twins (26-29) Lineup

Danny Santana CF

Brian Dozier 2B

Joe Mauer 1B

Josh Willingham LF

Oswaldo Arcia RF

Trevor Plouffe 3B

Josmil Pinto C

Eduardo Escobar SS

Sam Deduno P

Milwaukee Brewers (35-23) Lineup

Jean Segura SS

Scooter Gennett 2B

Ryan Braun RF

Carlos Gomez CF

Khris Davis LF

Mark Reynolds 3B

Lyle Overbay 1B

Martin Maldonado C

Yovani Gallardo P

First Impressions

  • Still love the name Scooter so much.
  • Manager Gardenhire said that Danny Santana would be eased into the lineup again after the cut to his eyelid. Ease in is apparently putting him back in the leadoff spot in his second game back. That’s where he should be, but don’t sell me the ease him in crap.
  • It’s a Pinto night. That means it’ll be a good night.
  • How many times will we hear about ‘this is when Jason Kubel should pinch hit’ during the broadcast?
  • The Brewers have some pretty good pitching.

Game Time

First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 Central for Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Game can be seen on FOX Sports North and heard on the Twins Radio Network.
