Woke up, fell out of bed, dragged a comb across my head. Found my way down from my lofted bed, went on the web and got me Paul McCartney tickets.
That’s a day in the life of this college student and hopefully for everyone who was hoping to see Sir Paul McCartney at Target Field on Saturday, August 2. The Minnesota Twins have announced that the Beatle sold out his concert in 20 minutes on Monday morning.
Of course, sell outs in minutes used to be very impressive, but presales nowadays can make public sales basically a third deck or shoot adventure. A look at the Minnesota Twins ticket hub showed various options to buy tickets before the public on-sale.
If you were an American Express card holder, Minnesota Twins season ticket holder, got a code from a radio station, a Paul McCartney fan club member or wanted to purchase VIP tickets, you could do all of that before 10 AM on Monday.
Tickets are sold-out, but the Minnesota Twins urge you to keep checking their website because the promoter might release some more tickets. It’s worth a shot, right?
There’s also the secondary market and ticket re-sellers. I checked those out before the public sale and I will tell you there’s a reason that I’m sitting in the third deck and it’s not because I want a good view of the Minneapolis skyline.
