It’s a great day to play two. Okay, it might be a little gloomy, but there’s always something a little special in the air when there’s a doubleheader, even if it is a split day-night doubleheader and thus a total money grab by the franchise. I’ll step off my soap box now and just give you the lineups.

Minnesota Twins (6-7) Lineup

Brian Dozier 2B

Joe Mauer 1B

Trevor Plouffe 3B

Chris Colabello RF

Jason Kubel LF

Josmil Pinto DH

Kurt Suzuki C

Aaron Hicks CF

Pedro Florimon SS

Toronto Blue Jays (8-6) Lineup

Melky Cabrera LF

Munenori Kawasaki 2B

Jose Bautista CF

Edwin Encarnacion 1B

Colby Rasmus DH

Brett Lawrie 3B

Moises Sierra RF

Josh Thole C

Ryan Goins SS

First Impressions

Remember when R.A. Dickey was on the Twins? He’s fairly good now. (I thought he was then too, but what do I know)

Who catches tonight?! Do we see a Chris Herrmann outing with Pinto still DHing?!

The Blue Jays still have Jose Bautista playing centerfield. That’s weird.

Game Time

First pitch for the first game of the split doubleheader is 12:10 from beautiful Target Field in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Can be seen on FOX Sports North and heard on the Twins Radio Network.

REMINDER: Tonight’s game will be on the FSN Plus channel, you’ve be warned.
