Minnesota Twins Game Ten: Lineups and First Impressions

Credit: Jesse Johnson-USA TODAY Sports
Apparently the MLB ballparks across the nation found the light switch on Friday. Friday marks the first date of the new season where everyone is playing in the night time with those gosh darn lights making everything bright so people who have things to do during the day can see a ballgame. What a concept!
Side note for the ballgame: Manager Ron Gardenhire will not be in the dugout on Friday night or Saturday.
Gardy will be in Ohio attending the funeral of umpire John Hirschbeck's son, Michael. Steiny: "There's a place in Gardy's heart for him."

Tonight will be the first time at any level that Terry Steinbach has managed a game from the start. #MNTwins

First Impressions
- Bruce Chen owns the Twins, so this will be fun.
- The Royals should be good, right? I’ve only been saying that for about ten years now.
- The Royals don’t have a win on the road and the Twins don’t have a win at home. Something has to give.
