Game three and it’s virtually a must win game. The Twins probably aren’t going to do great this year, but it’d be nice for them to, I don’t know, be over the .500 mark for at least a couple of days in April. The Twins (0-2) can move one step closer today in their game against Chicago (2-0).

Minnesota Twins Lineup

  1. Brian Dozier – 2B
  2. Joe Mauer – DH
  3. Josh Willingham – LF
  4. Chris Colabello – 1B
  5. Trevor Plouffe – 3B
  6. Oswaldo Arcia – RF
  7. Josmil Pinto – C
  8. Aaron Hicks – CF
  9. Eduardo Escobar – SS

Pitching for the Twins: Phil Hughes – RHP

Also, Brian Duensing will be activated and in the bullpen. Michael Tonkin has been sent back to Triple-A Rochester.

Chicago White Sox Lineup

  1. Adam Eaton – CF
  2. Marcus Semien – 3B
  3. Jose Abreu – 1B
  4. Adam Dunn – DH
  5. Avisail Garcia – RF
  6. Alejandro De Aza – LF
  7. Alexei Ramirez – SS
  8. Tyler Flowers – C
  9. Leury Garcia – 2B

Pitching for the White Sox: Jose Quintana – LHP

First Impressions

  • So, Kurt Suzuki has been one of the bright spots of the season thus far, let’s gave him the day off. I know he’s a catcher, but come on.
  • Still excited for some Pinto cuts.
  • Already giving Mauer a DH day, because first base is really strenuous.

Game Time

1:10 Central from U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago.

Can be seen on Fox Sports North and heard on the Twins Radio Network.
