I don’t know why you say goodbye, I say hello, hello, hello!
When Paul McCartney wrote ‘Hello, Goodbye’ in 1967 for ‘Magical Mystery Tour’, I’m sure he was seeing into the future and March 2014 when the Minnesota Twins would basically do just that with Matt Guerrier.
On Monday, the Twins cut their former bullpen arm and let him search for a job with every other team across Major League Baseball. On Tuesday, it was announced that the Twins had resigned Matt Guerrier. It’s like that crappy high school couple that breaks up during lunch but are making out in the parking lot after school that same day.
Right-hander Matt Guerrier also re-signed with the #MNTwins on a Minor League deal, according to Rob Antony.

As you can see from the tweet from Rhett Bolinger of MLB.com, Matt Guerrier is resigned to a minor league contract. The deal has been restructured a little bit and for that we go to Mike Berardino of the Pioneer Press.
Guerrier's revised deal still calls for him to be paid $1 million in the majors with a chance to earn an additional $1 million via bonuses.

Matt Guerrier's bonus structure remains: $250K each for 45G, 50G, 55G, 60G. #mntwins

Same financial terms for Matt Guerrier on new deal w/#mntwins. Opt-out date moved up to May 8, per source.

Another note on Guerrier, he won’t be joining the Triple-A Rochester Red Wings right off the bat, apparently because it’s too cold.
Guerrier will start his season down in extended spring for a few weeks to avoid cold weather.

The other news of the day for the Twinkies is that they have in fact told Jason Kubel that he has made the 25-Man roster. The addition of Kubel brings the Twins back up to a full 40 on the 40-Man roster.
Jason Kubel was informed he made the team and will be added to the 25-man roster. #MNTwins
