Monday was a busy day for the Minnesota Twins as they partook in some split-squad action at home against the Toronto Blue Jays and on the road against the Baltimore Orioles. Both squads won for the Twins, by a whole lot of runs. You can read the recap of the home game against Toronto here, plus the highlights of the Twins and MLB’s first instant replay challenge.
The following are a couple notes that passed through the cracks during the busy, busy day in Twins Territory.
Don’t shoot the messenger, but it looks like Johan Santana is headed to the Baltimore Orioles.
Sounds like #orioles have deal with Johan Santana. Just waiting for it to become "official."

Pedro Florimon is getting better and showing the love.

How did the Twins take the replay delay? Pretty good.
General consensus from those in the #MNTwins clubhouse after the game is that the replays/reviews didn't feel like they took too long.
