I’ve used the horrible ‘we’re getting the band back together’ opening to a couple of signings this offseason, but HOLY CRAP!!! WE ARE GETTING THE BAND BACK TOGETHER!
On Wednesday morning, it was announced that ex-Minnesota Twins reliever Matt Guerrier is back on a minor league deal with an invitation to big league camp.
Welcome back @mattygrrr! @Twins sign RHP Matt Guerrier to a minor league contract with an invitation to big league camp.

Guerrier last pitched for the Twins in 2010 after seven years of appearing out of the Twins bullpen. The next two and a half years were spent with the Los Angeles Dodgers for Guerrier before being shipped to the Chicago Cubs midway thru the 2013 season. In 2013, between the Dodgers and Cubs, Guerrier went 4-4 with a 4.01 ERA in 49 ballgames.
In a conference call with reporters, Guerrier commented on his chances of making the big league team.
Guerrier on making team: "I’m pretty confident in myself that if I come back healthy and feeling good, I have as good a chance as anybody.”

Also mentioned was that he had surgery in the offseason, but expects to fully prepared for Spring Training.
