It’s a new year with new beginnings, but we still have the Weekend Web Gems, of course. So sit back, relax and read about your Minnesota Twins.

Speaking of the New Year, Brad Swanson over at Kevin Slowey Was Framed! gives us his New Year’s Resolutions for the Twins.

Twins Daily ranked the top 13 stories of 2013. All of the stories are now up, so go over there and read about the top stories of the year that was.

Jim Crikket of Knuckleballs wrote about the comparisons between the Twins and the Minnesota Vikings. There are similarities, differences and by the end it’s obvious who you’d want to play for.

At one point, the Twins, Vikings, University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Football team and the Minnesota Timberwolves all called the Metrodome home at the same time. Apparently, Twins skipper Tom Kelly sometimes washed the Wolves uniforms. Tom Kelly is awesome.
