The Winter Meetings kicked off on Monday and there hasn’t been much action after a lot of moves before the meetings. Keeping that in mind, here’s the fun Minnesota Twins nuggets thus far.
@Mets, Twins & Red Sox still most likely teams to sign Stephen Drew, according to people familiar with his market http://t.co/HNLsOdeZ6M

The most intriguing of the nuggets is that the Twins are showing some interest in ex-Boston Red Sox shortstop Stephen Drew. The signing team would have to forfeit a draft pick for Drew’s services, but it is definitely an intriguing deal and a potential upgrade at short for the Twins.
Aj Pierzynski, who lives near Orlando stopped by winter meetings to have lunch. Said Twins offered 2 yrs but RS 2 good Oppty to pass up

No one can blame A.J. Pierzynski for this move, but it was fun to dream. This puts in concrete what went down for the Twins and Pierzynski. Only question that remains is what are they serving for lunch at the Winter Meetings that A.J. went there just for that?
Latest Arroyo steam: Mets and Reds making strong pushes. No new #MNTwins steam. No offer made by Twins, I hear. Not sure on other two.

The Twins have been linked to Bronson Arroyo for the whole offseason. It looks like it’s a three team race for his services. The Twins are looking to add another starter and it appears that Arroyo might end up being that guy…

Sorry, Twins fans who were hoping Brett Anderson of the Oakland A’s would end up in Minnesota. He’s off to play with the West Minnesota Twins, Colorado Rockies, with Justin Morneau, Michael Cuddyer and Latroy Hawkins.
According to @LaVelleNeal, Ex-Twin Juan Rincon is in Orlando for the #WinterMeetings, looking for a way back to the bigs.

Speaking of former Twins, Juan Rincon is apparently trying to make a comeback. Good luck.
On Monday, it was reported that the Twins had interest in outfielder Rajai Davis, but Davis signed with the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday morning.
