Restocking Puckett’s Pond: Writers Wanted

Things have been going swimmingly since I’ve returned to the cool writing waters of Puckett’s Pond back in June.

I’ve rediscovered my passion to write after few down months on Grading on the Curve where it was a struggle to get my free time and motivation to mesh and produce content. That all seems like a distant memory now that I’m back covering the Minnesota Twins.

Myself and the rest of the staff here on The Pond closed June out strong and pushed the site to heights in July that it hadn’t seen in the 4.5 years it’s been in existence. We’re very proud of what we’ve already accomplished together but the topical Twins waters are vast and we need help covering all aspects of the team. For both our own satisfaction and to provide, you the readers of this site, as much quality and (hopefully) insightful content as we can.

We need more voices and we need more styles to provide more complete coverage. So if you’re interested in writing about the Minnesota Twins, please take a moment to complete our network’s online application and be sure you indicate that Puckett’s Pond is the site you want to contribute to.

As far as expectations go I’m ideally looking for writers that can contribute content 1-2 times per week but if an every other week routine would fit your schedule better, please don’t let that stop you from submitting an application. Previous blogging/writing experience online or in print is not a requirement. If you can come up with topics and express your thoughts, ideas and opinions on the Minnesota Twins via the written word, chances are we can make room for you here on The Pond.
