Our Rudderless Staff – Lead Writer Wanted

Here on Puckett’s Pond we have a very diverse stable of writers, but we lack a primary voice to provide consistent/daily content for Twins and baseball fans to consume and enjoy.

With that in mind, it’s time to start a more public and formal search to find a Lead Writer to steer the fortunes of this site forward. If you are reading this, love the Minnesota Twins and believe you can post 30+ times per month I hope you will follow this link and apply.

Whether you’re an experienced writer/blogger or are just getting started in the world of online baseball writing, we feel there is no better place to take the next step than with our network.

FanSided provides outstanding support to our writers, from dedicated directors of each sport, to hands-on ownership, to technical support, you won’t be left to try to find your own way in the vast blogosphere. We provide the servers, the web hosting, the domain names. We also offer a competitive revenue sharing package to qualifying writers, which pays out monthly; very few other networks offer that. All you need to do is produce intelligent, insightful, and interesting content on a regular basis.

Interested parties should follow this link and fill out our application. From there, one of our directors will be in touch with you to answer all of your questions and discuss your application. Stop wandering around in the internet wilderness and come to a network that has the connections to bring the readers to you. FanSided has partnered with Big Lead Sports and all of our sites are featured on Google News. There are just two of the additional benefits you get from belonging to a network with over 180 sites and hundreds of writers on staff.

Whether you want to turn your hobby into a passion or turn your passion into an obsession, we look forward to hearing from you. While our primary focus is to find a Lead Writer for Puckett’s Pond, we’re also willing to add 1 or 2 more Staff Writers to further round out our team if the right candidates apply.

Don’t hesitate, follow the link, fill out an application and take the first step toward a new journey as an online baseball writer. If you meet our standards, Nate, Eric, Paul, Josh, Adam and myself will welcome you to our team with open arms.
