One of the hallmarks of a great team is winning when not firing on all cylinders. Sure, the Twins got a lot of help by a key Cleveland error, but tonight’s outing is what I had in mind when I called Kevin Slowey the ace of this team. He doesn’t throw very hard an doesn’t have the pure stuff that Liriano does, but when his control is on he can chew through any lineup in the league.
